My own experience

Yes, first of all, I vày agree with the claims that this cream really does absorb nicely and gives a soft & smooth finish. If it’s a good makeup-base I have not tried. Since I always apply my sunscreens directly afterward. When it comes lớn the other claims about the anti-inflammatory effect of this cream và its strengthening of skin’s tolerance, I totally agree. It does work wonders in calming the skin, at the same time as it provides a healthy glow. I simply fell in love the first time I used it.I have a skin type that is highly sensitive and most products, even other hypo-allergenic moisturizers can make my skin turn red. This one does not. Instead, it calms my skin when I feel irritated in any way. Và it has never given me any breakouts what so ever. During this year of usage, I have every now và then tried other brands. But quickly gone back to lớn this one. And just khổng lồ be totally clear, this is not a sponsored post in any way. I even tried one of Bioderma’s other moisturizers, but quickly stopped since it did not work for me.The one I tried was the Rich formula of the same brand and series. But that one made my skin slightly irritated and it did not give me the same smooth finish either, as the light formula. It’s the light version that works for me and the one I personally would recommend for anyone searching for a gentle & healing cream that also strengthens.I also love love love the fact that it contains the powerful antioxidant Glycyrrhetinic acid. As mentioned before that ingredient is not just an anti-inflammatory agent. It also gives protection against blue light. Something that not every sunscreen does.I use another hàng hóa with this ingredient (see this post) but a little extra of Glycyrrhetinic acid from my moisturizer is indeed a great bonus! The last thing I love about this cream is that it contains no ingredients that can interfere with other active serums that you might use.For example, I use a retinol serum most evenings (see my previous post), and a vitamin C and astaxanthin serum at day time. And using too many active products can cause your skin more harm than good. Và it’s especially not a good idea if you are prone khổng lồ get sensitive (or breakouts).
Even though Bioderma Sensibio Light Cream is without any silicones. It is still one of the best moisturizers I’ve used when it comes khổng lồ texture and smoothness.

How I use it

I use Bioderma sensibio light cream every day of the year. Two times per year most of the time, but in the summer I only use it at night. The humidity is higher in the summer & I feel that using my sunscreens after my serum is really enough for me. Before applying the cream I also cleanse thoroughly with my gel cleanse from the same series. Followed by my micellar water from Filorga that I love as well.In the daytime, I also use my astaxanthin and vitamin -C serum, và in the evening my retinol serum. Certain days I skip the serums all together and just go for the cream.I always follow up with sunscreens (yes I use more than one, this post will explain why) in the daytime.This moisturizer has been amazing for strengthening my skin barrier. What is non comedogenic moisturizer anyway?

This phrase shows up so often that I thought I would explain what it means. And also what khổng lồ be aware of. Non comedogenic simply means non-pore-clogging. Which you can see as an indication that a product has been formulated to avoid acne and blackheads. Some of you may wonder if someone with acne-prone skin should use a moisturizer at all. And for some people (depending on climate as well) that can work. But be aware of the fact that if your skin becomes dry, your body can start khổng lồ compensate with producing more oil. I’ve been using this product for several months per your recommendation & it works beautifully. I’ve just discovered they discontinued it and replaced it with one that has soybean oil. Vày you have any updated recommendations? I’m so bummed out by this.
